Educational Programs
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park offers a variety of programs to compliment any field trip or curriculum. Programs can be adapted for any age group or level. All programs are aligned with Sunshine State Science Standards and include live animals. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.
Onsite Programs - Programs are held in our educational classroom.
Cost - $1.50 per person (plus price of admission)
Minimum of 15 people, Maximum of 25 people for Pre-K and 35 people for Kindergarten to Adult. Multiple programs can be scheduled to accomodate your entire group.
Time - 20 to 30 minutes for Pre-K, 30 to 45 minutes for Kindergarten to Adult

Zoo-on-the-Move Programs - We bring the program to your facility.
Cost - $175 for first program, $75 for additional programs at the same site, same day,
$30 travel fee if greater than 30 miles away

Events and Festivals
We will set up a table exhibit at your next event that includes live animals!
Cost - $150 per hour, minimum 2 hours, maximum 4 hours
Program Topics
Pre-Kindergarten
Jump, Slither and Slide
Some animals run, some animals crawl and some animals even wiggle. Students will learn about how different animals move and get around.
The Skin They’re In
Children will explore the different coverings of mammals, reptiles and birds. Through touch, students will learn the difference between fur, feathers and scales.
Kindergarten to Adult (programs are adapted to each age group)
Survival
Animals have to out-hide, out-hunt and out-compete their way to survival. Students will learn about many unique adaptations that help animals beat out their competition.
Animals Have Class
Learn key characteristics that make animals similar to and different from each other. Students will examine several different classes of animals and learn what traits set them apart.

Where the Locals Hang Out!
We can find exciting ecosystems and interesting creatures in our own backyard. Come explore Florida’s rich habitats and learn about the animals that call them home.
Reptile Rally
The Alligator Farm is famous for its reptiles. Learn about snakes, turtles, lizards and, of course, alligators!

We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals; however, we reserve the right to change your program time, shorten or possibly cancel your program.
