Group Visits

Thank you for your interest in the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, one of Florida’s oldest and finest attractions. We are sure that you will find your visit to be an entertaining and educational experience for you and your students. You will be able to observe many species of animals including a wide variety of exotic reptiles found nowhere else in Florida. One chaperone for every ten children will be admitted free all others will pay quoted admission rate. Have one person check in at the ticket window to pay and the others will be let in a side gate.

The St. Augustine Alligator Farm also has a snack bar and a picnic area for the convenience of your group. The Kids Zone picnic area is located to the left of the snack bar. Coolers and bagged lunches can be kept in this area until you are ready for them. This is an unsupervised area; if you wish to keep your lunches on the bus, you can retrieve them when you are ready to eat. If the picnic area is not available, we can suggest parks that are close by. If you are not purchasing lunch from the snack bar please do not sit in the snack bar area; this is reserved for snack bar customers only!

GROUP SAFETY RULES

  1. Something for Everyone!No running or shouting inside the Alligator Farm, gift shop or in our parking lot.
  2. We require that there be at least one adult chaperone for every ten children. This is required for all school groups from preschool through high school.
  3. Please keep your group silent during shows. Loud noises can endanger the animal handlers.
  4. Keep your group together and chaperone them throughout the park, in the rest rooms and the gift shop.
  5. All animals can bite. Feed only the animals with food dispensers provided, and only that food. The cost of the food dispenser is a quarter. Please have everyone wash his or her hands after feeding the animals.
  6. No climbing trees, fences, etc.
  7. When the Wild Bird Rookery in the swamp is active, PLEASE do not disturb the nesting birds.
  8. Do not throw trash or other objects into the animal enclosures.
