Did you know...

Toucans are well known for their large, colorful beaks. Toco Toucans are the largest type of toucan and have the largest beak relative to body size of any bird. The lightweight bill is not only useful for grabbing hard to reach food, it can also help to keep the bird cool.

Like other toucans, Toco Toucans nest in tree cavities. When the chicks first hatch, they are blind and naked and have small, pointed beaks. Both parents help incubate the eggs and care for the chicks.
